Pros

Great people, who unfortunately don't stay long. Offbeat culture. Pretty good communication across levels.

Cons

Impossible to hold onto people, layoffs, tons of instability, unclear and inconsistent strategy.

    Pros

Terrific culture, a very respectful environment with a lot of independence.

    Cons

As a company that started as a "mom-and-pop" enterprise there have been and continue to be a lot of growing pains as we transform ourself into a true global organization.

Communication with the production facility in Australia is challenging due to the time difference.

There has been a lot of turnover as the compny has been evolving. This is a tremendous challenge.

    Advice to Management

Once decisions have been made, stick to them and trust in your employees' ability to implement those decisions.

The problems with recruitment and retention must be addressed squarely and with complete transparency.

I worked at Jurlique full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Heritage and products truly are incredible.

    Cons

Senior management lack the energy, time and passion to drive a great brand to where it needs to be. Talented members of staff are driven out of the business due to lack of opportunities and 'secretive' non-inclusive leadership styles.

    Advice to Management

Nurture the talent you have within your teams rather than throwing money at external agencies.
