I have been working at KB Home full-time for less than a year

    Pros

I love my co workers , my community , and my buyers. Training was great, I learned everything I needed , the reimbursed all expenses and put us In a nice hotel. They provide 3 months of forgiven draw In the amount of 3K/month, but most homes are built to order and take 6 months to close. There’s a good amount of inventory to sell, it’s definitely possible to never owe any draw. The commission is 1.5% -1.75% on the final purchase price , there’s potential to make a ton of money , at three months in I sold seven homes and there’s still two weeks left. They spoil the sales associates , bonuses at 9 sales for the quarter 5500, end of quarter prizes range from 2500 at Tiffany’s or millennia mall, and dinner , they provide team building activities (last month was Whirly ball) and there’s fun events always being planned, realtor brunches , renting out whole bars , it’s great, marketing team will provide everything you need for your one realtor presentation , easiest six figure job ever if you listen to the training and show up to work you can sell a home, they also take chances on newbies, I’ve never sold anything but McDonald’s . Great culture , and as for work life balance, my partner is a teacher, so his hours help me be flexible . But I average 40-60 hours a week, with the commute , I drive an hour , to and from work , it’s worth it, but be prepared to be placed anywhere

    Cons

Work every weekend 6 months to make commission My managers great , but they’re not all great They could put you in a slow community (you can overcome this by making realtor relations )
