Encouraging sales managers, great training program, fortune 500 company

Cons

A little bit too much focus on the "business plan" over things that just make sense.

Advice to Management

I think that upper leadership is great. Mid-level management should be a little more hands-on in the selling process and less concerned with reports.

    Pros

    -Great potential income
    -You get a draw check when you have no closings (caps at 10K)
    -usualy laid back place to work

    Cons

    You dont get paid any commision up front, so you can starve until closing.

    You will not recieve the hot communities to sell in unless your close with the district manager

    You will be treated like a child ( it is not uncommon for your DM to call your appointments to make sure your not making them up, then your buyer comes in wondering why your boss was checking on you)

    You will be required to attend "Call A Thons" where you drive to corporate with all of your reg cards so they can listen and make sure your actually calling your buyers.

    VERY POLITICAL ENVIROMENT

    Get used to being the badguy as you watch shady practices be used on buyers (EX: two of your buyers family members get killed in a natural disaster overseas and even though construction has not begun on his home you are told to not give him back his earnest money.)

    Advice to Management

    Quit and let more inteligent people fill your roles.
