I worked at KPMG full-time (More than 5 years)

Pros

Pay was good. It looks great on your resume. The name recognition carries a lot of clout when you decide to leave.

Cons

Always understaffed, trying to get by with their employees by working you into the ground. The culture is harsh and includes yelling and fair doses of backstabbing, gossip and anger.

    Cons

Most advisory service networks are national, which potentially can result in lots of travel if there's no critical mass
