    I have been working at KPMG full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Great learning experience, you get a lot of exposure to many types of clients. Given a lot of responsibility early on in my career. Excellent training programs. Work with very smart people. Client interaction is frequent.

    Cons

    General lack of management at the firm. HR is responsible for scheduling and does not factor in your preferences. There is no room for advancement. Extremely high performers are not rewarded properly via promotion or extra pay. Managers and partners have large discrepancies in management techniques. Management does not care about providing quality work, all focus is on squeezing output and running at highest level of "efficiency" which does not allow improvement of work. Client service is dismal, seems that most clients just use KPMG because of it's name and reputation. Oh and the hours are terrible and you are not compensated for them.

    Advice to Management

    Take care of your top performers, start caring about providing a quality product to clients.
