Approves of CEO

Pros

Free Lunches, free drinks (large variety), free snacks, fruits
Occasionally free dinners, if you work late
Lower Politics then industry average
Laid off workers get great layoff package (2 months plus)
Dynamic workplace
Great equipment (computers, monitors, office space, chairs, efficient IT)
Decent work to life balance for most employees
Gym membership
Company makes great efforts to keep employees as happy as possible
Courageous attitude towards competing in a competitive marketplace
Make and play fun Strategic Games
Lots of feedback allowed from employees to managers and upper management

Cons

Lately, higher employee turn over leads to lower morale
Fairly Fast paced
"Unlimited Vacation time" is false advertising (it's more like 2-3 weeks, which is the industry average)
Not all employees get good work to life balance
starting to show small signs of office space culture ( using things like Rypple, etc)
Company made a few errors in strategy: flaws in business model led to lowered performance

Advice to Management

Keep doing what your doing. But make sure your employees don't get bogged down with things like Rypple and too many meetings.

    Pros

Kabam offers free lunch and good benefits. There are a lot of friendly people that work there. Overall seems like a good company.

    Cons

It doesn't seem like you can grow there at least not in the department I worked in. The people who worked in my department didn't seem to be very qualified and were very unprofessional most times. Management was not very flexible with days off even though the company promotes unlimited vacation.

    Advice to Management

You should really know who you hire as managers. Pay attention to team morale. Have your managers honor company policy. Have a clear privacy and compliance policy for employees.

    Pros

A great place to work. The people are very smart, dedicated, and very talented. It's a pretty amazing team that I work with. Everyone works hard and also plays hard. The management team treats everyone with respect, and they all sit out in the open. It's still difficult to talk to some of them, but at least you don't have to go to the corner office and wrestle with the assistants to get in front of them.

    Cons

The company is growing so fast and adding a lot of new teams and people in different functions. Sometimes it can be difficult to find the person you need.

    Advice to Management

Need a bit more clarification on how different teams/studios work together to achieve our goals.
