I worked at Kaufman Borgeest & Ryan, LLP part-time for more than a year

    Pros

Smaller/smallest branch than the east coast offices, meant more experience / opportunities to learn.

    Cons

As a result many understaffed positions and high work volume.

    Positive Outlook

I worked at Kaufman Borgeest & Ryan, LLP full-time for more than 2 years

    Pros

There were some great attorneys at the Calabasas location. It was a pretty easy going job. Sometimes you'd get swamped, but there were times when there really wasn't much to do.

    Cons

The California office is the black sheep of the company. They very clearly care more about their East Coast offices. HR treats the support staff with less respect. The job was far to slow paced for me and there was no room to move up even if you asked.
