      Pros

The hybrid flexibility is ideal to be remote on Mondays and Fridays. The commission structure is VERY lucrative. Once you hit your groove, the commission adds up fast, and you can make a lot of money. Culture is another plus for sure. They hire great people and it’s nice to have coworkers who are also friends outside of work.

      Cons

The industry can be tough but still rewarding. Not every day is going to be perfect, but the highs outweigh the lows. There are uncontrollable factors, which can be tough.

          Pros

If you told me I would be where I am today just a little over 2 years into this company, I would've told you 2 things: 1) ...you have to be kidding. 2) I believe it whole heartedly due to many factors, but the main ones being: - my work ethic - the mentorship I continuously receive and build upon - my love for relationship building + natural curiosity to understand the "why's" behind what we do - the genuine interest in/commitment to KellyMitchell's mission to stand out among the rest The community, the encouragement, the goals, the entrepreneurialism, the individuality, the career paths, the constant push to do and be better. I've never met more committed, engaged, and thorough colleagues to their consultants and clients alike.

          Cons

This industry ebbs and flows, but you have to adaptable, knowledgeable,, resilient and always curious!! Where one door closes, another one always opens.

        Interview Tips

Feel free to post any interview questions you might be asked and I’ll help you compose an effective response :)

        Senior Resource Manager

Last Thursday and Friday I interviewed with 2 hiring managers for 2 different companies. Both of them said they’d like me to progress to the next interview and the recruiter would reach out. One company said they wanted a offer out this month so it would be a quick process. I sent thank you emails and references. I haven’t heard from either recruiter. I had the recruiter screening and hiring manager interview just days apart, I thought I’d hear back by now. Thoughts?!

        Underwriting Support Specialist

Underwriter 1 commercial line posted salary $45k-75k, I am aiming for at least 65k. No degree or designations, currently p&c licensed with 4 years of insurance. Is my goal too high? How should I go about negotiating my salary?

        Program Manager

Just heard that some companies are going to start paying people for their time if they are asking you to do a presentation or something! Does anyone think this will become a thing?
