I have been working at Kelton

      Pros

      - Fun, challenging projects with a ton of great brands - 'Raise your hand' mentality for people who want to try new things or evolve their role outside their job description - Transparent leadership team who are actively involved in project work - Ability for junior staff to quickly improve their skill set and play a meaningful role from start-to-finish on projects - Ability to learn from a diverse set of smart thinkers...

      Cons

Kelton isn't a place where you can show up and just earn a paycheck - the bar is set really high for all employees. The people who do well at Kelton are those who are comfortable finding solutions, pitching in to help others, and are OK working in the unknown; those who don't succeed typically need formal processes to thrive. One example is onboarding - while there's a set agenda for new hires with many conversations...

I have been working at Kelton full-time for more than 3 years

      Pros

      • The people + culture. From day one, I’ve always felt supported by everyone here. The environment is the opposite of a “dog-eat-dog” agency culture. VPs are willing to get their hands dirty, leadership is approachable/not intimidating, and everyone is genuinely nice to each other. • Recognition. If you work hard and do quality work, you’re going to get recognized for it. Standards are high, but success and growth...

      Cons

      • Start-up mentality can sometimes cause headaches. There are plenty of times where you’ll have to do things that are outside of your job scope, and often there aren’t structured processes in place. If you’re looking for a structured environment, you probably won’t be happy here. • There are times where you’ll be insanely busy, and times where you have a very manageable workload. There’s a lot of fluctuation here due...

I worked at Kelton full-time for less than a year

      Pros

      - Global, big brands with exposure to C-Suite clients - The mid-senior employees who work there are exceptional in terms of both intellectual output and personality - an absolute pleasure to work with and socialize with

      Cons

The company is completed outdated in terms of culture and management. They peg themselves as a "creative" company, but having come from advertising - the working environment is anything but creative. Employees are unnaturally fearful of management and afraid at times to leave the office to grab a coffee with a coworker and run the risk of looking unproductive or uncommitted to the work. Those that succeed are...

      Advice to Management

The vision is sounds - but Tom/Gareth need to pay greater attention to how their managers are implementing their vision within their departments and with their employees. It's not at all translating, and there is a palpable feeling of discomfort and dissatisfaction with most of the mid-senior level employees who are doing most of the work,
