I worked at Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton full-time (More than 5 years)

Pros

Gained a ton of good experience working with some of the best attorneys, litigation support specialist, and outsourcing vendors. As a premier law firm, support staff have access to the best legal software and resources available. Great perks and benefits

Cons

Promotion opportunities and raises are not fairly distributed. You have to be highly favored to see fair salary increases as a support staff.

I worked at Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

Office is in a decent location.

    Cons

Terrible place to work. Zero work-life balance. You get stanky eyes if you use the restroom too much. Not allowed lunch breaks or any breaks outside of the office. They give you a babysitter to watch over you at all times. Not allowed to use the same water faucet or microwave as other employees. Boringly organized, not very intelligent attorneys. Treat people with a lack of respect. Unhealthy environment that expects you to sit still for 8 hours straight staring at a computer. Very little guidance/mentorship. They expect your life for lousy pay and crappy lunches. Zero flexibility. They will fire you if you disagree with their unethical policies. Possibly the worst place I've ever worked in my whole life.

    Advice to Management

Go back to law school and take an employee discrimination class.

  2. "Good company to work for! Has an excellent reputation and there are many people who will take the time to mentor."

I have been working at Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton full-time

    Pros

The Firm has a relaxed atmosphere compared to many others. The attorneys are generally friendly and supportive. Staff is also generally very nice and supportive.

    Cons

They went from having offices to cubicles. The noise level can be really high on some of the floors.

    Advice to Management

Give staff the compliments that they deserve. They are always rooting for you, remember that.
