Negative Outlook
No opinion of CEO

I worked at Kindred Healthcare full-time (More than a year)

Pros

Decent nursing staff. 3 SLP tx rooms (pro) which are barely accessible for wheelchairs and barely fit a wheelchair (con). Rehab aides.

Cons

Rehab positions: Extremely high productivity standards which are rarely obtainable. Horrible scheduling system. Hand written documentation. Rehab Program manager is extremely passive agressive. Rehab (corporate management and program manager) not knowledgeable regarding SLP duties and does not wish to become so. Program manager has actually verbalized that she thinks SLPs are a pain. Nashua, NH building is huge.

I have been working at Kindred Healthcare full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Used to be RehabCare-decent PTO

    Cons

Micromanaging of staff, RehabCare cared, don't be fooled that Kindred is not RehabCare, iTouch management, being 'investigated' when iTouch goes out or not working properly. Staffing issues, will be sent home and get less hours even with traveling to more than 1 facility. Losing contracts and not proactive to give full time employees 40 hrs a week. Never flexible, even when told it was.

    Advice to Management

The iTouch's DO misfunction, and focus on giving full time people their hours, even with travel options.
