King Soopers - Good enough for what it is | Glassdoor
  1. "Good enough for what it is"

Former Employee - Front End Cashier in Colorado Springs, CO
    No opinion of CEO

I worked at King Soopers part-time for more than a year

Pay and benefits are decent. Lots of advancement opportunities. Mostly unionized.

Scheduling can be very inflexible depending on your seniority, so it can be challenging to work there while doing college or another job. Quality of the management is very hit-or-miss.

  2. "Lots Of Work"

    • Work/Life Balance
    • Culture & Values
    • Career Opportunities
    • Compensation and Benefits
    • Senior Management
Former Employee - Liquor Store Manager in Castle Rock, CO
    Neutral Outlook
    No opinion of CEO

I worked at King Soopers full-time for more than 3 years

Salary better than hourly, report directly to store manager, and lots of invited to free tastings

Low pay, 10+ hour expectation, constant scrutiny from district and executive team, being told to help other areas of store with no additional profit. Bonus potential is low given they find new ways to make payouts worse.
