I have been working at Kingsborough Community College full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Secure City job, union for all workers except Executives, regular salary increases and great benefits package

    Cons

Nobody ever leaves/retires! People get stalled in their careers. There are many low level positions but few mid to upper levels ones to advance to.

    Advice to Management

Encourage retirement. Many people work here 40-50 years taking up positions that younger people desperately need.

I have been working at Kingsborough Community College part-time for more than a year

    Pros

Flexible Time. You can make a schedule that fits you. And low entry requirements.

    Cons

If the session is unbooked, you don't get paid. So, sometimes if you have sessions unbooked in between other booked sessions, you need to stay there and no get paid.
