Approves of CEO

Pros

No need to answer to a board of directors. It's a small enough company, it's common to be able to associate faces with names.

Cons

Little evidence of showing support for promoting from within

    Approves of CEO

I have been working at Kisco Senior Living full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    the people are very friendly.

    Cons

The managment is so inconsistent. They are still making things up as they go along. They do not have the tradional positions in Senior Living; it's odd and very convaluted. Decisons are made slowly and strangely. Do not feel supported.

    Advice to Management

Focus on the business. Many people in higher level management are leaving for a reason.

    Pros

    Good benefits. Opportunity to grow.

    Cons

Little focus on some communities as compared to others.

    Advice to Management

Allow EDs to determine culture of each community. Recognize that what works in one part of the country won't necessarily work in another.
