    Pros

Company is filled with driven, talented employees. Good pay and benefits. Highly respected, employer of choice in Wichita. Fast paced environment- you will never be bored! No smokers allowed, everyone is drug tested and it is a highly secure workplace.

    Cons

KS&T expects long hours and has limited professionial growth opportunities. You will not be getting raises or bonuses unless you are high up or a trader. The leadership does not train or mentor, often the person that puts in the most hours gets promoted, regardless of their supervisory ability. The feedback you get is only the minimum, no reviews and often only bad news.

    Advice to Management

Invest in your people. Select leaders that have both technical ability and interpersonal skills and that WANT to be supervisors. Solicit feedback from employees on their leaders. Backfill management roles- we have no leadership left. Invest in technology- our IT operations seems fragile with lots of old, outdated processes/applications that fail all the time. Don't let your leaders play favorites. Tenured employees are not welcoming to new employees with outside experience- there is a reason we have so much turnover.
