I have been working at Kohl's full-time (Less than a year)

Pros

Friendly work environment, nice coworkers and decent employee discount.

Cons

It's retail so the pay isn't the best and hours are all over the place.

Advice to Management

More accountability and communication with employees.

    I worked at Kohl's part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I tried really hard to think of something......nothing comes to mind....

    Cons

Poor training. I worked here for about a month and quit mostly because of the training. I didn't understand what exactly I was suppose to do ever. Training consisted basically of learning how to punch in, understanding the break policy, and taking a bunch of "e learnings." Then they throw you to the wolves and let you start working on the floor without telling you were anything is, how to find product, or how to properly recover a display. The management then gets frustrated that you do not know how to do much and when you ask for training they basically say " figure it out."

The coworkers were not very friendly and extremely unhelpful.

Only 8 hours a week.....even during the holiday season.
