I worked at Kraft Heinz Company as an intern (Less than a year)

Pros

Friendly co-workers who were willing to help an intern. Excellent rotational program that exposes young employees to different business lines.

Cons

There is somewhat of a lackadaisical attitude in the office. There's a feeling that people are just punching the clock here. This may have changed now that the company is private and going through cuts.

    Pros

Jean dress code; eliminating unnecessary costs

    Cons

Ownership is inexperienced in growing brands and volume; they only know how to cut costs and that is their primary focus. They are running the company with a communistic command and control style- and they are preying on the young, inexperienced, money hungry young folks to do their dirty work. Forget work life balance and career paths - these are gone and no longer valued. They even are "encouraging" employees to wear "pieces of flair" to show their pride in the company. The new open office environment allows them to watch everyone's time in and out.

    Advice to Management

Cost cutting and working people until all hours of the night can only last so long; your turnover rate is going to continue to escalate and you will be left with a team of inexperienced folks that will create more costs that you can cut. Business is made of people and processes- focus more energy on improving processes versus cost cutting and benefit and people elimination.

    Pros

Can't think of any at this time.

    Cons

Too much stress as there is just too much to do with so little people still working there. Working atmosphere and morale is at an all time low. Workers are always concerned about when they will lose jobs.

    Advice to Management

Management needs to be more considerate of their employees and less concerned with just making more money.
