Horrible, the owner is unstable and mentally abusive.

    Pros

Working with the dogs and some of the other employees. Outside of that if you have to deal with the owner good luck.

    Cons

The owner is unethical, unstable, paranoid and mentally abusive. He gets a kick out of coming in a starring things up. One day you are good and doing things right the next you can't do anything right in his eyes. The process changes daily, if not hourly. If you don't agree with him. He becomes aggressive and states that you are arguing with him. But then states he wants you to give him your opinion. He is so asinine. He has deleted customers information out of the computer. Also ignores customer when there is a problem. He may be a good trainer. But he doesn't even work with the dogs. Let alone help train up his employees or trainer's. The one time he did. It almost made one of the trainers punch him in the face because he was belittling them so much. I stated in the office as the kennel manager with no experience or really training and was expected to know all this stuff. Or got yelled at because I didn't and he forgot that I had only been working there a little over a month. He has went through so many employees he forgets that you are new. Oh and don't get him started on the drug dealers, pornographers, Mafia.

Don't listen to the negative reviews, they almost cost me one of the best jobs of my life.

    Pros

The schedule is flexible, the camaraderie and culture is amazing as well. I haven't had a single negative experience with any of the crew, or dogs. It has been a very welcoming environment, and Wayne hasn't been anything but encouraging to me, helping me perfect my techniques to match his standard for quality. He is incredibly passionate about his business and his dogs, and that passion shines through every aspect of the business, which is entirely maintained by Wayne and about 10 other employees including myself. I have never seen a kennel that has been maintained at such a high standard of comfort for the animals, as well as hygiene. This passion, I believe, is what may have caused some of the previous ire in the reviews present here, because if you aren't up to the Kraftwerk Standard, you aren't a member of the Kraftwerk team, and in my previous experience with non-corporate businesses, it is a lot more detrimental to hold onto underperforming employees. I have been incredibly comfortable, and welcomed here, and would urge anybody reading this to disregard the negativity, or at least regard it with an enormous grain of salt.

    Cons

The commute is a little rural, but that is the only negative I have, as it's essentially a straight highway the entire drive. The only real cons I can think of are the detrimental reviews on this website potentially turning away new employees from what could honestly be a genuinely excellent opportunity for them. I came from a very toxic work environment, and was almost scared away by the reviews here on Glass Door, as they painted a completely false representation of the job.
