I have been working at Kroger part-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

Management tends to not be too ovearbearing and most dont abuse their power, some go on power trips. pay is decent. hours are always AT LEAST 18 hours, which is great cause i've worked at places where they could only schedule 4 if they WANTED to

Cons

i dont really have any, some customers are just unable to be pleased and will be rude

Advice to Management

Dont play favorites, pay attention to who works the hardest and who has the most potential, not who you like on a personal level.

I have been working at Kroger part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Kroger is Union Based
    Good Benefits
They are flexible with your work schedule

    Cons

    Repetitive Work
Minimum Pay with only a 15 cent raise every 6 months
Depending on the department you work at you might get a share of intolerant and lazy people.

    Advice to Management

At the location that I worked at the Managers weren't very well with keeping up with the employees who weren't doing so well or who would slack off too much which brings down the employees who work hard to meet expectations. Keep up with the work load your employees do.
