I have been working at Kroger full-time (Less than a year)

Pros

The Kroger Benefits package on a full time schedule.

Cons

The attitude of the workers is pessimistic, probably due to the hourly wage.

I have been working at Kroger part-time

    Pros

They are very flexible with schedules so it's really easy to work around school and to get days off. After a year, you receive a paid weeks vacation and two personal days. Also, you get a pay raise every six months or so.

    Cons

Instead of giving employees more hours, they keep hiring more people so hours are low. Also, management doesn't care about employees you're treated more like a number.

  2. "Losing interest in employees"

I have been working at Kroger part-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Good Benefits and pay scale

    Cons

Company is losing interest in keeping employees secure. Cutting hours like crazy. Very inconsistent in rules and regulations regarding employees.

    Advice to Management

You will not have a reliable work force if you don't allow employees to work full time. Cutting the hours of your good employees who have worked 40 hours for years down to 20 hours so that you can hire more people will only result in your losing those good employees.
