I worked at Kroger part-time (Less than a year)

Pros

they provided good training, there were plenty of nice people, good management, and there was decent pay for the work done

Cons

because I worked in a small town where I went to school so alot of drama with people I used to know

Advice to Management

When you hire someone, make sure they don't have to work with people who ultimately despise them if you can. Also more training for sensitivity in the workplace

I have been working at Kroger full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Kroger has stores all over the U.S. so there are plenty of options on where to work.

    Cons

The company is very cookie-cutter. Every store in a division is told what to display even if that product doesn't sell well in their area.

    Advice to Management

Give stores the option of vetoing product displays that will only create back-stock in the future.
