Pros

Tons of snacks Decent benefits (health insurance is 100% covered) Happy hours

Cons

Where to start? Huge lack of organization and structured processes across any department. No growth opportunities, a performance review process does not exist, which leads to the question "how do you get promoted?" - you do not. If you are not drinking the kool-aid, you are automatically no longer part of the club and will have a target on your back. The most important thing to do here is smile, if you do not, keeping your head down and working hard is not enough and your performance will not matter. They would rather have employees who can keep up the fake image than the hard working ones who have the courage to bring up challenges and issues. You will absolutely be at risk of being let go at any time, with no warning, no PIP and without any performance issues. If you are not "happy" according to them, they can let you go and there is no conversation about it. There is barely any diversity in the company and there are higher level managers who make discriminatory comments and jokes to team members due to their origins, nationality, accents, etc. The positive reviews posted on this page are forced and fake, some of them were written the day before several employees were fired out of nowhere across multiple departments to mitigate the potential negative reviews the company was going to receive here. HR is useless, if you do have any kind of issue (unless it is sexual harassment - because they can actually be sued for that) then there is no point speaking with them, most likely the information you share, will be used against you.

Pros

- Smart, friendly coworkers - Lots of opportunity because people leave constantly. If you make it 6 months you'll probably be the most experienced person on your team. - Company appears to have money so is relatively stable for a startup

Cons

- By far the most turnover I've ever seen at a company. Part of this is the constant firings done in secret. But it's also from people quitting because of how bad this place is. - Arbitrarily set and unattainable deadlines. Everything is always code red and always urgent. - No work life balance - Platform and product is bad, but there's no time focused to fixing it because we're always pushing new AI slop projects - Negative future outlook for the company. Business is going downhill and the founders are grasping at straws to find something that sticks. - Engineering has a lot of issues, so we re-org to pretend they don't exist. - Leadership perpetuates a negative culture. Employees are afraid to speak up. Expect to be Slack deactivated if you do. - Lack of accountability from management - Low pay for the stress
