I have been working at L-3 Communications full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

In Northern Virginia - friendly people at the program level. Very flexible with weekly schedules; some telecommuting is allowed in some jobs.

    Cons

Upper management flip-flops on business decisions and sends contradictory messages to the workers. Notorious for quarterly layoffs. No coherent corporate-wide vision or strategy.

    Advice to Management

Stop treating people like interchangeable Legos. Give more control to the program manager to make financial decisions. Stop interfering with small purchases.
