You have the opportunity to design into any category you can think of, that is a real plus, also the company is still not known that well, leaving you with the ability to steer the direction where ever you want, if you have research to back you up and conviction.
Cons
the owners are constantly trying to put you in your place so that you do not feel that you are doing a good job, so that you do not ask for more money or a better position in the company, there are a lot of secrets at the "upper management" level, a lot of sneaking around. You will get pulled into being part of the secrets, but it is best to stay above it, and remain professional.
