      Pros

It’s a well diversified company that still focuses on growth.

      Cons

Depending on your work area the staffing can feel very thin and pretty task saturated.

        Pros

Fantastic people, good pay especially for Erie, interesting work, well respected by customers, good vacation, excellent lower and mid level management. A surprising number of lifetime employees.

        Cons

Rarely backfill positions which causes burnout of remaining employees. Mediocre medical benefits after the Parker takeover (LORD pre Parker had industry leading medical benefits which attracted many people to LORD and kept them there). Parker management is putting a lot of risk into production by massively reducing inventory which causes huge delays when one part gets scrapped and there are no parts available to backfill. Development has more or less dissappeared as there isn't any investment. It seems that all Parker cares about is the bottom line for stockholders, there isn't any vision to invest in future products.

        Property Manager

As a leasing agent for two years, I then worked my way to assistant manager for t 11 months. Then, to a property manager position, nine months into my new role as manager, I was terminated, with no warning, completely unexpected. How do I explain this undeserving action and embarrassment in an upcoming interview without any risk in the decision-making of my employment with the company I am interested in? I hope I am relaying this in a way that is understood.
