Pros

supportive, friendly environment-respected in sector as place of excellence. Diverse nature of work motivating. Good work life balance and pleasant environment

Cons

progression limited due to fewer manager roles-otherwise generally a good place to work-pay limited by public sector constraints-bonus structure would improve matter

Advice to Management

bonus structure would provide added incentive along with ability to create new initiatives. Otherwise I have few complaints and good job satisfaction

    Pros

Good hourly pay. Usually flexible hours. Priority for student halls accommodation. A variety of challenges and responsibilities. Valuable work experience.

    Cons

Salary increments are standardised, therefore no performance-based rewards. No bonuses. Some management are useless, especially at student hall accommodation (e.g Trevor Murtagh).

    Advice to Management

Management seriously needs to change the approach of evaluating the performance of their staff. There have been cases of good employees being dismissed, while bad employees are kept. Time to wake up!
