Pros

- Some great perks such as free food in the kitchen (which is stocked with a bunch of good stuff)
- Cool, young, motivated people
- Laid-back atmosphere
- Nice building, decent location

Cons

- Essentially a dead-end job, no career progression even for top performers if you start at the entry level
- Controversial business practices - product quality is questionable at best and not necessarily what is advertised
- Total lack of communication from management down to employees
- Poor customer relations tactics (auto-renew policy infuriates customers, should be thrown away but makes company too much money)
- Mass layoffs that have historically occurred every couple of years, due to huge/random restructuring of company model/business plan that seems to occur on a whim

Advice to Management

Communicate with your employees. Call a spade a spade and do not mislead customers - this is what results in a bad reputation. Choose a management structure and stick to it - letting go all middle management in one fell swoop to save money looks terrible and crushes any team morale. Get rid of the auto-renew policy - it's one thing to have a weak product if customers are willing to pay for it, but do not mislead them into further charges outlined in fine print.

    Free food and snack
    Casual environment and dress
    Always celebrating, lots work events
    Great social atmosphere
    Break room and ping pong

    Cons

    Poor pay
    Unlimited vacation only exists for salaried employees, 95% of employees on are "hourly"
    Tons of favoritism
    All of the enterprise sales group - very cut throat environment
    Zero room for growth
    All recruiter customers know there is a full blown whole sale come quarter end or year end, will always wait it out as Ladders gives in just to make the buck

    Advice to Management

    Listen to employees, get out of the cut throat, hire more technology folks and PAY your tech folks so there is not a rolling admissions type atmosphere.

    Great people, Ceo threw alot of celebration parties. Good benefits and salary.

    Cons

    As a rep, goals were unattainable. It is a 100% cold calling job. Favortism with reps.
