Pros

Very open, transparent, data-driven culture. Very frequent internal communication. Strong team. Work hard, play hard. Customer-orientation very prominently on display.

Cons

Strategy not aligned with current market. Sometimes impulsive decision making by senior management. Customer satisfaction perhaps not important as publicly stated?

    Approves of CEO

    Pros

the people who work there are amazing.
    Very fun, while professional environment.
Plenty of constructive criticism/feedback to help individuals grow professionally.

    Cons

Unpredictable industry right now, with everything that is happening with the push towards social media as an effective way for people to find jobs. It's just hard to predict what will happen to the job board industry, if anyone can come out ahead of the game it will be the team at TheLaddders

    Doesn't Recommend
    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

The stocked kitchen was a nice perk, the benefits were great, and the company used to employ a lot of really competent, fun, creative people. Used to.

    Cons

There is not enough opportunity for internal advancement. I guess that's true of most companies. I wouldn't say TheLadders was that bad. But they could be better at retaining and developing internal employees.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you're doing, and the results will be very similar. You should revise your retention strategies. After all, you're in the talent management business.
