Pros
Get paid and experience whilst you do your degree which is all paid for. Development programme modules can be hit and miss.
Cons
Depending on the business & project you work on, some can be really positive places to work but a lot of the higher management see you as junior and worthless even if you have some decent experience under your belt. You can be seen as a 'kid' Cadets is also used as a salary cap, even if you exceed better than someone who isn't a cadet, your wage will hit a bracket that you cant exceed
