Pros

-Super efficient and fast interviewing process! I always received feedback and responses in a friendly and timely manner. The talent team was awesome, super friendly and relatable people. The process and everything else involved was also super clear from the start. -Having experienced onboarding to similar companies in the past, I can confidently say that Lano's onboarding process for new joiners is structured very well. The "department intro sessions" that occur in the first week are great, and not only give new joiners a chance to meet a few colleagues from each department, but provides a better sense of what each person/department does at Lano as well. Definitely makes for a good start

Cons

-No real cons, other than not being able to work with my colleagues in person everyday! (But I guess that's what you sign up for when working remotely haha)

Pros

Working in Lano has been fun. Positive vibe. Office is dead most of time except for Tuesdays. I learned how to navigate thru problems. However, I do feel my skills were undermined and I wasn’t given a chance to show what I am capable of.

Cons

Unorganised, incentive is not based on knowledge and exp but rather how long you have been part of the company which I find stupid.

Dear employee, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re glad to hear that you enjoy the positive vibe at Lano and that you’ve developed valuable problem-solving skills during your time with us. However, I’m sorry to hear that you felt your skills were undermined and that you didn’t have the opportunity to fully showcase what you’re capable of. Ensuring that every team member feels valued and has the chance to contribute meaningfully is incredibly important to us. Your feedback is a crucial reminder that we need to do better in recognizing individual skills and experiences. Regarding your point about our incentive structure, I understand your frustration. The intention behind our current approach is to reward loyalty and long-term commitment, but it’s clear that we need to strike a better balance with recognition based on knowledge and performance. Your input will be instrumental as we review and refine these processes to ensure they are fair and motivating for everyone. Thank you again for your candid feedback. We genuinely appreciate your perspective and are committed to making improvements. Best regards, Your HR Team
