I worked at Lattice Engines full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

Great staff. Everyone in the San Mateo office is super smart and friendly. Salary and benefits are good. If you're lucky enough to be working on developing the newest features and processes, work can be very intellectually stimulating. Otherwise, if you're just cranking the data out through an existing process, work can be tedious (see cons).

Cons

Day to day work can be monotonous and require long hours on weekends and evenings due to the nature of loading data into the software during "off hours".

Advice to Management

Junior staff need more mentoring/guidance on career progression opportunities.

I worked at Lattice Engines full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Lattice hires innovative, creative, and highly motivated people to work in providing predictive analytics from big data. Great business plan, great backing, great leadership.

    Cons

Disconnect between leadership and staff level. They find someone who is can get the job done, then overload them with an unsustainable workload to the point of exhaustion.

    Advice to Management

Consider the workload after the sale is complete. Right size the staff level employees and quit burning them out.

I worked at Lattice Engines full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The people in California seem to care about training new staff. The salaries seem to be a bit above average, maybe because the main office is in California.

    Cons

People are socially inept and insecure which causes bad leadership and unkind behavior. Entrenched leadership that lacks aptitude. Odd ball behavior is the norm.

    Advice to Management

California may be run differently, but with all the firings in Boston, get a clue about the people in command.
