I have been working at Laureate Education full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

Extreme growth, opportunity, decent salary, flexible schedule, great benefits, education is encouraged, everyone is open to change and they want to hear your ideas, a few different office locations

You receive 70% tuition reduction if you attend Walden!

Cons

The pace is very fast, they run somewhat lean, change happens very quickly which at times can be frustrating, can be long hours but many positions have laptops so you can do some work at home

Advice to Management

I hope they take the upcoming employee survey seriously and act where needed.

I have been working at Laureate Education full-time

    Pros

Great location, close to inner harbor.

    Cons

Sneaky, false, favoritism-based corporate culture. If you have any sense of values or have ever even heard of "business ethics", steer clear of Laureate.

    Advice to Management

Learn to manage. "just do it" is not the most effective approach to training staff...
When initiative after initiative are failing and general dissatisfaction and discontent abound, perhaps the leaders need to start doing some introspection.
Do not feel threatened by new talent and approaches, learn to respect staff and capitalize on their abilities to the benefit of your team and the company.
