I worked at Lehman Brothers full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Great company and culture. people were very smart and approachable

    Cons

Disparity in salaries. There was no consistency at all. TDP growth was slow and had wired HR rules about how much salary bounce one could get.

    Advice to Management

    wish Lehman was still around

I worked at Lehman Brothers full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Cutting edge when it comes to technology.
Used to be some great people to work with.
What else can you say about a company that no longer exists?

    Cons

We all know how this story ended.
As the company grew, employees needs mattered less and less. It became a numbers game and employees were treated as such... a replaceable number.
If you worked less than 50-60 hours a week, you were viewed as a slacker.

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees with respect and they will respect you back.
