    Pros

    Good peers to work with, majority are willing to help so long as approached. Minimal politics among majority of colleague.
    Good learning ground for Opto-Mechanical design.
    Might stand a chance for overseas exposure.

    Cons

    Poor commication from management within department.
    Senior manager does not have open mind in many areas, and not able to drive works and communicate in objective way.
    Manager ran away from problem and let go half way through the project.
    No actual project management for certain project, auto-pilot is what is mostly happened.
    Grey areas are obviously growing, problem fedback to management, most of the time no action or even review done.

    Advice to Management

    To understand what happens and listen to what engineering level has to say.
    To have clear direction communicated across the department.
    Some stuff have very good performance over years, recognizing them via promotion/package adjusted and give clear career advancement opportunity would certainly help upkeep motivation.
