    Pros

The pay was decent. It was a rewarding feeling knowing you were helping the soldiers and their families. Great co-workers! I appreciated the opportunity.

    Cons

HR liked to go on witch-hunts. They fired one young environmental manager on the "suspicion" of sweet heart deals with vendors. The suspicion was unfounded according to a legal clerk who told me anonymously 2 yrs later. They fired a sustainability mgr & marketing mgr who were innocent of sending an angry email out to the whole company. They kept their mouths shut to protect an older female who still works there today! She even admitted to it to 3 of us at a restaurant. My direct VP loved to power grab his way into the executive ranks - he knew very little about the anything. He definitely suffered from Napoleon syndrome.

    Advice to Management

Monitor the culture of your group! Promote those with a vision and a plan! Get rid of the Good 'ol Boy mentality!

    Pros

The company is open to innovation, but you need to push them. You always feel supported by management. This is a good place to work.

    Cons

The IT situation is awful. Asa new hire you get 8 year old hand me down computers and equipment. The national IT hotline is not effective.
