I have been working at Levi Strauss full-time (More than 5 years)

Pros

Great culture, normally very adaptive to work life balance, iconic brand, amazing employees

Cons

Poor leadership, lack of communication, many re-orgs, too unstable, heading into the wrong direction

Advice to Management

I was once proud to work here, now I am not, I think that there needs to be more communication. The lack of moral in this company is ridiculous. This company has a strong brand, but it is not a strong company. Let's try to get it there once again like it had been once before.

I have been working at Levi Strauss full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    First dibs on clearance jeans.

    Cons

Everything. Management is comprised of inexperienced "leaders" who like to pretend their position is anything more than it really is. Half of them can't even do the simple math involved in measuring market metrics. If you work here kiss your bright future good bye because this is the most soul crushing, dream killing job you'll ever have.

    Advice to Management

You fold jeans for a living for god's sake.

I worked at Levi Strauss part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

iconic products, fantastic diversity/culture, decent benefits, brand image isn't as superficial as many of their closest competitors

    Cons

products can be purchased for cheaper prices at big box stores, unstable hours, asking for vacation time is like asking to be fired, poor communication within management team due to overworking

    Advice to Management

district management needs to pay closer attention to in-store management dynamics and not focust solely on performance numbers. the relationship is interconnected.
