I have been working at Levy Restaurants full-time (More than a year)

Pros

Great people, lots of opportunity, energy, and excitement. You can take a chance and try something new and different and forge your own path.

The senior management is a small group that works well together so if you are interested in making a change to a different department, it can happen naturally through conversations with your boss and their peers.

Cons

There are so many parties involved as support and resources that it can be difficult to make decisions and get a clear direction. You definitely have to be self motivated.

I have been working at Levy Restaurants part-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

I actually make really good money. A meal is provided. Because of the lack of management skills, employees are able to run themselves and make the customer happy any way possible.

    Cons

Very little communication from management. Revolving door of managers. Management has little to no experience. Nothing is ever the same from one shift to another. No organization. A lot of hurry up and wait. Management never takes any responsibilities for their mistakes. Instead they target hourly employees and put the blame on them until they are fired or just have had enough and quit.

    Advice to Management

Not much advice, really. If you are a good manager you will be overworked and either quit or get transferred to another venue. If you are a poor manager, you will be overworked and then fired.
