Pros

Great people and opportunity to progress in your career in the financial world. Better benefits then any other employer I have had.

Cons

I do not have anything negative to say about Liberty Bank as an employer. They have always been great to me.

Advice to Management

Keep up the good work and continue to grow your staff. You all do a wonderful job and I am happy to be part of the Liberty family.

I have been working at Liberty Bank (Connecticut) full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great benefits, good hours, great people. This institution has done a great job carving out its niche in a market otherwise dominated by much larger banks. They are constantly improving and growing and they do not seem to have their foot off the gas.

    Cons

There is a disconnect between the front line and the back offices that need some addressing, and their branches are severely understaffed. They put major projects ahead of smaller ones that would dramatically reduce the workload of their already overworked front line. They spend money in their marketing, acquisition, and executive bonus budgets that would be better spent improving the efficiency of the bank.

    Advice to Management

Reevaluate where your dollars would make the most impact. Cut back on the bonus structure in order to have cash flow to dedicate on constantly improving the technological deficiencies that are present. To be a big player, you have to have the technology to do so.
