I have been working at Liberty IT Solutions full-time for more than a year

    Pros

There are MANY pros for working for Liberty IT Solutions. I work remotely so that is a huge pro as I have a young family. When leaving my previous profession, I wasn't sure if this was the right step for me, but that thought is no longer. The workload is tough but not overwhelming. The salary is competitive and when compared to the previous profession I held for 8+ years, MORE than acceptable. The insurance is great for...

    Cons

As I mentioned, working remotely is a wonderful asset for this company and for my professional career. This has led to many exciting advancements. This also is a bit of a "con" because when working in an office setting, bonds can be formed, and work can be even more exceptional. I have found that even as a remote employee, I am "in the loop" and can keep in touch very easily with co-workers with the IT advancements and...

    Advice to Management

I am always invited to advance in my profession. Learning things daily is aiding in my profession and I plan to continue to grow. This company helps this with providing exceptional opportunities with trainings and furthering my profession and knowledge. My superior is always helpful and gives positive feedback during the year, at team meetings, and in the final year review. I love how the goals are achievable and helpful...

Thank you for your service and involvement, even as a remote employee. So much of the experience, especially when remote, comes down to how an employee also actively engages with us. We are always looking for ways to enhance the experience of every employee, but especially remote ...

I have been working at Liberty IT Solutions full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

It's great to work remote, you get tons more work accomplished and far less interruptions. Great health and dental plans.

    Cons

Low ball on salary based on industry estimates and work experience. Working remote makes it harder to interface with managers. At times they believe you aren't getting work done at the rate they expect. When conflicts arise, you often have no way to address managers to get a workable solution.

    Advice to Management

Change your process for possible employee/supervisor work issues. If a supervisor believes there is an issue, they're not always right and the employee is not always wrong. The employee has no way to address the issue effectively. Supervisors aren't accountable and therefore they don't learn from their mistakes, the also devalues the employee and causes unneeded work delays.

I worked at Liberty IT Solutions full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

You've got a chance to be on some very high profile and impactful projects. Liberty has a relatively laidback work culture and competitive salaries when compared to other companies in the Melbourne, Florida area. There's a year-end office party at a popular bar downtown, which is pretty cool. Also every other week is Food Truck Friday! There's a lot of work coming through the pipeline, if Salesforce is your thing.

    Cons

The company had a small business and start-up vibe when I started back in 2016, but the culture is becoming more generically corporate. The recreation room (ping pong, air hockey, video games) goes mostly unused, because people are too busy for that. Having to work long hours is very common, among technical and non-technical staff alike. It's not unusual to be assigned to multiple projects at once, and believe me, juggling...

We believe all of our programs, even if they aren't the most exciting technology, are highly impactful to the people receiving (or not) the care and services they need as a result of our work. Salesforce is certain a growth focus for the company, but there are growth opportunities ...
