I have been working at Liberty Mutual Insurance full-time (More than a year)

Pros

Paid training and licensing.
Unlimited earnings potential.
Fairly flexible schedule.
Truly enjoy most of my policy holders.

Cons

Indescribable amount of micro-management. (unless you are a top performer)
A whole lot of double standards.
You are completely replaceable in the sales role.
Hard to advance if you aren't willing to move.

Advice to Management

Less time should be spent on managing people to spreadsheets and micro-managing everything people do!

I have been working at Liberty Mutual Insurance full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Overall it's a good work environment, the people are really cool for the most part and they're willing to help when you're first starting out. The managers are mostly laid back and don't micromanage at all. They're pretty flexible about time off if you ask in advance, but obviously there are limits for certain days (around holidays, etc.). The pay is way better than most of the other jobs I looked at

    Cons

The biggest downside is the turnover. A lot of people in my department have quit or transferred, meaning other people get stuck with their unfinished work. It's frustrating to have to take responsibility for someone else's work, especially if they didn't do their job properly in the beginning.

    Advice to Management

Figure out how to keep people longer.

I have been working at Liberty Mutual Insurance full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Talented employee pool. Excellent opportunities for lifelong career if willing to put up with ignorance, make shift decisions, and working long hours while not being listened to.

    Cons

Six levels deep of management. Do not understand front-line employee's concerns.

    Advice to Management

Listen to the employees, walk a day in their shoes!
