Pros

Good pay. Pleasant atmosphere. Myriad of perks. Employs a lot of people, props up the economy, keeps many families afloat.

Cons

Was like going backwards in time by 40 years, everyone smilingly working in slow motion, many of the activities adding no real value (other than taking up time and consequently getting more pay).

Advice to Management

I'm guessing there isn't enough competition, else all the fat processes would be hurting the company. Maybe try Agile or Lean Six Sigma to provide a better value.

    Pros

    Respect for employees,
    High level of responsibility
    Honest feedback
    Leadership training
    Opportunities for growth
    Expect to be challenged
    Work-life balance
    Great benefits
    Provides good customer value

    Cons

    Changing rapidly
Mergers and layoffs create uncertainty and anxiety
Politics at the senior level is becoming a problem
Customer service expectations do require a lot of effort
Major changes require working on current and future products

    Advice to Management

Continue to believe in your employees. The company is changing and expectations continue to increase, but remember it is the employees that have gotten you to your level of success. This is not the time to reduce their benefits and training. Give your employees a break, especially those that have sacrificed personal time to keep your projects on track.

"Not a bad place to work in the Concord Are / Poor Salary"

    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

    decent work/life balance
    401k match is almost unbeatable
    nice "campus"

    Cons

too many senior leaders with no clear vision
merit pool has been horrible the past three or so years
AIP (bonus) gets a lot of attention but at the end of the day, it's a 5% on average bonus if you are lucky! Senior Leaders care about it because they get a much bigger piece of the pie (7.5%+ stock shares)

    Advice to Management

look at poor performers at the management level and address the issues rather than eliminate jobs and push them to another team to create issues. Be more competitive in salary so we can have more effective workers! You pay for what you get.
