I worked at Lionbridge as a contractor (Less than a year)

Pros

High Pay
Work on your own time

Cons

-No more than 20 hours per week
-Automated Emails/Responses
-Slow Responses
-Limited Feedback
-Difficulty with Direct Depositing System

As a college student, I expected the job to make life easier, as the hours were completely flexible. The job only added further stress, as I encountered numerous technical and banking errors, and none were ever resolved by the company. One paycheck, direly needed for school fees, was over 2 months late.

Advice to Management

Treat your employees like people. Don't automate emails and such, each message should be personalized

I worked at Lionbridge part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

This job is a true work from home experience. They pay a good wage for fairly easy work. Because you rate search engines and results, as well as web pages, it can get interesting. There is basically no set schedule and you work according to your own schedule.

    Cons

The work can get a little tiresome. It’s very monotonous and can feel like it drags on. You are required to get a minimum amount of hours, and sometimes the tasks just aren’t there. Sometimes the tasks were so slow that I was unable to meet the hour requirements.

    Advice to Management

The monthly performance reviews were inconsistent, and sometimes punishment was given for not meeting hours despite there not being tasks available.
