I worked at LivingSocial part-time (More than a year)

Pros

Their Adventures division employs a vast network of Part-Time Event Coordinators(ECs). This position is a flexible, fun, and enriching one, with fabulous superiors and even the possibility of benefits, depending on how much you work! They provide competitive pay and a unique, positive work environment. If you like being on a real "team," this is a great place to work.

Cons

There isn't much room for mobility, upwards or otherwise, in the Adventures Division. They are a growing and changing company, and as such aren't deeply invested in the bottom rung.

I worked at LivingSocial full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I wish I could think of some - other than the benefits and working from home freedom

    Cons

Everything else - and now that I am gone I realize just how bad it is working there. I have to re-train myself to be a good customer service salesperson - you simply don't have time to be at LS. All they care about is bringing in MORE deals - so many more deals. Absolutely no regard for the merchants.
Management will avoid their calls if there is a problem . SO sad!

    Advice to Management

Sell this to someone who knows how to run a big company.

    Pros

Fun, laid-back atmosphere. Flexible team and great office perks. People come from all sorts of backgrounds and previous jobs.

    Cons

Big and clunky - like a battleship trying to maneuver a river. Hard to get things done timely, hard to get approvals on new projects. The capital is there, but the people may not be.
