    - Good benefits

    Cons

    - Not a lot of growth opportunities
    - No incentives to stay with company (no pension)
    - Difficult to be promoted

I have been working at Lockheed Martin full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Steady flow of contracts allows for participation across a wide range of customers and stages of a contract (bid, system design, development, integration and test).
    High integrity of management
    Work ethic among engineering staff

    Cons

In some pockets of LM, engineering is a dying art. While some areas continue to nurture engineering skill transfer and learning curve, other areas are allowing those skills to atrophy, which will eventually cause the company issues.
The work ethic among engineering is not always matched by other areas of the company (support staff, ILS, bizops)

    Advice to Management

Work more actively to bridge the demographics gap between younger workers and the graybeards. Don't just encourage mentoring - demand it and allow for it in the project schedules.
