    Pros

They have such a large amount of resources that are there to help you perform and succeed.
There are so many groups that you can join and grow yourself as a professional.

    Cons

It is a large organization so it cannot move at the speed of a small business. It can be tough to deal with the red tape although it is the strict regulations that make their products superior.

    Pros

LM provides opportunities to work on large-scale complex projects of national importance. Employees are encouraged to take advantage of training opportunities. Most employees are highly qualified. This organization offers different career advancement paths depending on interests/qualifications (e.g. scientists, engineers, MBAs).

    Cons

Annual reviews require managers to identify a specific percentage of employees as poor performers (even if they estimate that some individuals do not deserve to be categorized as such...)

    Advice to Management

Careful hiring, training and leadership prevents employees from performing poorly. Employee performance should be driven by their performance (...), not a theoretical distribution.
