I have been working at Lockheed Martin full-time (More than 10 years)

Pros

They work hard to make sure their employees are well cared for and have the tools they need to get the job done. Upward mobility is possible if you have an ambition to climb.

Cons

They could be better at helpig employees transition between jobs within the company.

Advice to Management

Help transitioning employees that want to stay with the company to stay with the company.

I worked at Lockheed Martin full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great technical (worked on extremely innovative products) and leadership experience if you were in specific programs that allowed growth.

    Cons

Pay for performance did not exist which meant very talented, young employees would leave to get paid higher by competitors. It is also extremely hard to move up the ladder if you don't know the "right" people or do not intend to stay for 20+ years.

    Advice to Management

We live in the 21st century... The "old boys club" culture needs to go. Your CEO is a woman so learn to accept the growing change that is inevitable for the company. You're losing a lot of great talent because you operate under a completely stubborn culture that needs to change.

I have been working at Lockheed Martin full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

9/80 work weeks are great, remote work and telecommuting is ideal, great big family style workforce, awesome people to work with.

    Cons

Tough times having the gov't as your #1 client does not help keep staff busy, some management need to learn better communication skills.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your people, and keep us busy.
