I have been working at Lockheed Martin full-time (More than a year)

Pros

Lots of freedom and trust, and plenty of flexibility in my work schedule.

Cons

Once locked in at your starting salary, the annual pay increases aren't very substantial. It takes a lot of time to be properly rewarded financially for your work.

Advice to Management

I can appreciate the rigid structure for salary increases and promotions, but I think it needs to be more elastic to allow its employees to be fairly rewarded for good work.

I have been working at Lockheed Martin full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Large company with lots of opportunities for growth or to transfer to different locations and business areas, good salary, leader in their field.

    Cons

Very much a cliquish environment, limit on growth if you stay on the same program for any length of time. Far-flung locations don't seem to get as much attention as those closer to headquarters on the East Coast.

    Advice to Management

Don't forget about the employees that actually do the work that drives the share price!

I worked at Lockheed Martin full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Large organization with a very large global foot print.

    Cons

The size made it hard to be noticed and heard

    Advice to Management

Listen to the organizational feedback & the LM21 results, and stop overriding data driven feedback or results.
