Pros
Initially we worked at their main space - a loft in TriBeCa. There was great camaraderie and support, great stocked kitchen with free snacks and beverages. Each person had their own cubicle and workstation. In 2012 they let us work remotely from our home computers which saved a commute and you could work any hours you wanted as long as you put in at least 10 hours a week.
Cons
As this was a start-up, there were still some bumps to iron out with the database so there were times when it was a bit frustrating trying to input the data in the database. They were in the process of implementing a search engine that eventually replaced the recruiters. During that period we were asked to just retrieve logos for companies which was a bit boring. They've begun using HS students as summer interns. I don't know why unless they are paying them less than they paid us ($20/hr).
