I worked at Loffler full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

OK benefits, generous annual PTO rollover, field employees allowed the same holiday schedule as clients. Environment very dependent on which location field employees were assigned to. Hourly positions means the stress of work can usually be left at work at the end of the day.

Cons

Quick turnover without a competent hiring process. Leaving my position meant needing to write up my own job description because my manager was incapable of describing what I do to potential replacements. Inadequate time to train in replacement, which means the next person down the line will get even less training. Management in such a panic over losing a client over a qualified employee, that they forgot how to do their own jobs. In fighting among management due to the poaching of each others' employees in order to provide enough coverage.

Advice to Management

Learn how to do what your employees do in order to step in at the last moment as necessary. You tell employees to be proactive rather than reactive, practice what you preach. Fear of losing clients should go hand in hand with fear of losing great employees, they're the backbones of the company and you show them very little respect.

I have been working at Loffler full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Family-oriented, decent 401(k), friendly work environment.
    Would recommend company with reservations.

    Cons

Management & compensation plans unstable. Pays at lower end of spectrum for comparable years of experience. Lack of professional development opportunities.

    Advice to Management

Provide more professional development opportunities. Have more robust compensation without significant changes every year.

I have been working at Loffler full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Standard Monday-Friday 9-5 type of work week in most locations
Site perks depending on location. (ex. Fitness center, cafeteria)
Ability to acquire wide range of knowledge and skills due to wide range of responsibility in job position.

    Cons

No or very little communication between field employees and management
Timeliness and follow up to employee concerns and request is very delayed (ex. Waited two weeks for information regarding signing up for benefits)
Little to no training - Employee learns on the fly and no future training provided
Benefits are overpriced and very lacking
Paid time off is a joke and could be revamped
Poor organizational structure within LMS and company.
Poor choice of management - Very poor in management, leadership, communication and related skills.
Very little career opportunities. Unable to advance very far within company beyond current responsibilities and very little communication of current opportunities available
Company more concerned about relationship with client than own employees.
Management will side with client before hearing employee point of view during conflict.
Management has very little knowledge of daily task of field employees and their responsibilities but than will provide instruction on how to perform task and procedures.

    Advice to Management

Listen to and take timely action on employee concerns and request.
Instead of boosting how much money the department is making the company, reinvest that money into employees (better wages and benefits)
Better communication between field employees and management.
