Pros

They pay you expenses, you can occassionally get good projects, good friends. If you are lucky you can keep finding projects and roles but don't expect company will help you if you need/eligible to grow further in your career.

Cons

NO pay structure, you need to give stick to get things done, nothing is easy, few projects and too many useless and political managers to eat all the cream and real strength i.e. developers/technologists/consultants get the bump. Managers get bonuses, enjoy working from home but for mid level employees rules are very strict.

Advice to Management

get rid of useless old 20 years service length managers get 80K+ and doing nothing apart from making things difficult for talented people. Make a good pay structure for real consultants and help them to progress in their careers. In one project, managers were keen to hire expensive contractors to do same things as perm consultants are doing, however, paying them very small. What a real injustice in Logica ! Old mainframe time managers still think they are very technical however know nothing of new technologies and developments, hence wrongly place to assess technically strong people, resulting in making them frustrated.
